Accounts Payable Clerk

Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for an ongoing contract-to-permanent opportunity. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, data entry, purchase order matching, vendor statement reconciliation, and assisting with payment runs. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner

+ Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation

+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

+ Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments

+ Maintain vendor files and support internal accounting processes

+ Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment issues
