Job Description

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a construction-focused organization in Rocky View County, Alberta on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong AP experience who can thrive in a high-volume environment while supporting both accounting and administrative operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt through payment processing
Review, scan, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately into the accounting system
Route invoices for approval and follow up to ensure timely processing
Coordinate project-related invoices and documentation with project teams for coding and allocation
Process overhead and operational expenses, including utilities and office purchases
Prepare cheque payments and maintain supporting records and documentation
Sort and distribute incoming mail and maintain organized filing systems
