Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger)
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join a well‑established business on a temporary basis. This role is part of a small finance team, managing the purchase ledger while providing support across the sales ledger, administration and compliance.
What the Accounts Assistant role involves
- Managing end‑to‑end purchase ledger processing
- Conducting supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of the payment run
- Supporting sales ledger and credit control responsibilities
Suitable candidate
- Past experience in a similar role
- Basic Excel skills – ability to manipulate data
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
