Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description
Robert Half is working with a growing small business in the construction-related industry to hire a Controller / Accounting Manager who will lead accounting operations and financial reporting. This position is open due to an upcoming retirement.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

+ Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll

+ Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

+ Supervise, train, and manage accounting staff

+ Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations

+ Coordinate annual audits with external auditors

+ Analyze data to support equipment buying, selling, utilization, and ROI decisions

+ Provide financial input related to rental fleet performance
