Accounting Manager

Job Description:

1. establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
2. oversee the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
3. oversee the preparation of periodic financial reports and ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
4. be responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year and for the annual filing of corporate income tax returns
5. coordinate with accounting audits and external auditors to ensure compliance, and provide information necessary for the annual external audit
6. make recommendations to management on short and long term financial goals and policies
7. perform financial analysis with emphasis on capital investments, pricing, and contract negotiations
8. ensure compliance with government requirements; and
