Accounting Manager (Fleet Accounts)

• As manager of Vessel Accounting team, he/she is responsible for the timely preparation and submission of monthly OPEX reports for all vessels assigned under the various entities. OPEX reporting would include reporting of the financials in the owners' format.
• Maintain good relationship with and communicating efficiently with Principals/Ship Owners on vessel accounting.
• Maintain good communication with the Technical Team.
• Coordinate with other departments in obtaining reporting data by accounting staff and resolve difficulties and exceptions.
• Continuous monitoring and weekly reporting of the fund status of the principals.
• Review of funds position of Principals/Ship Owners and advising the team of the shortfall and follow-up actions where necessary.
• To advise the Senior Management whenever funds are expected to run into a deficit and seek confirmation on the next course of action.
