Accounting Manager

Description
Our client in the education industry is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, support financial reporting, and help ensure accurate and timely month-end close.


Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage daily accounting activities, including general ledger oversight and account reconciliations

+ Supervise month-end and year-end close processes

+ Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules

+ Monitor internal controls and support compliance with accounting policies and procedures

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

+ Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account discrepancies

+ Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial reporting and process improvements

+ Support audit preparation and coordinate requested documentation
