Accounting Generalist

Responsible for end-to-end accounting operations of a trading business, including inventory monitoring, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, and tax compliance (VAT, EWT, ITR, and related BIR filings). The role requires close coordination with operations, purchasing, sales, and management to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with Philippine regulations, and timely financial reporting.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping
   • Perform end-to-end bookkeeping from recording of transactions to preparation of financial reports.
   • Maintain accurate general ledger, journals, and subsidiary ledgers.
   • Ensure proper classification of accounts in accordance with PFRS.
   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules.
   • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
