Accounting Clerk

**Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our corporate accounting team. This role focuses on the consistent execution of bank transaction processing, reconciliations, and discrepancy research. Reports to the Supervisor of General Accounting. This position interacts with other accounting departments and field locations. The ideal candidate values accuracy, process consistency, and long-term stability within a structured accounting environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Daily clearing of General Ledger accounts related to bank transactions
+ Preparation of monthly bank account reconciliations
+ Research and resolution of bank adjustments and outstanding items
+ Investigation and follow-through on discrepancies until completion
+ Preparation of journal entries related to bank transactions
+ Support month-end close procedures
+ Support unclaimed property process
+ Assist with recurring and special accounting project...
