Accounting Clerk

**This is a contractor position for IP, not an employee role at IP or one of its clients.**

**The Accounting Clerk will sign a contractor agreement and will be paid monthly in local currency (R$).**

**The Accounting Clerk must be able to work between 8/9 am and 5/6 pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday.
**Duties / Responsibilities**
- Work on bookkeeping and reporting for IP, or its clients, in QuickBooks or its clients’ general ledger (G/L) systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
- Support a client’s Accounting Manager/Controller with monthly close tasks as needed.
- Review, prepare, and enter AP invoices into the G/L.
- Enter payments into the bank, credit card processor, or other payment system.
- Review, prepare, and enter AR invoices into the G/L.
- Follow up with customers whose payments are delinquent.
- Prepare and reconcile various balance sheet accounts, including bank, credit card, freight, prepaid expense, fixed assets, etc.
