ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

• Prepares payroll including all necessary computations (overtime, holidays, deductions etc.) timely and efficiently.
• Prepares required reports related to payroll processing.
• Ensures that all transactions pertaining to payroll process are accurately recorded in the Accounting System/ QuickBooks.
• Performs reconciliation of accounting entries entered in the system vs. manual monitoring.
• Performs reconciliation of Statutory Remittances such as PHIC, HMDF and SSS.
• Ensures timely filing of Withholding Tax Compensation and all related tasks (e.g., preparing, journalizing, etc.)
• Records and monitors payables and disbursement.
• Handles computations of royalties and journal entries.
• Records expenses and prepares reports as needed.
• Ad hoc tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.
