Accounting Assistant

To support the Finance Accounting team in ensuring accurate cost tracking, inventory monitoring, and timely financial reporting by performing routine cost accounting tasks, variance analysis, and data reconciliation. The role works closely with various business units to maintain cost efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and provide reliable data to support management decision-making.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform monitoring and recording of inventory movements
• Conduct month-end inventory physical count, and reconcile variances against system records
• Participate in month-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
• Support process improvements and system enhancements related to cost accounting and inventory management.
• Perform other finance and accounting tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor
