Accountant

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Smithers, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, contributing to strategic financial decisions, and driving continuous improvement. This is a full-time position running Monday-Friday (40–45 hours/week).

Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in the month‑end close process, financial reporting, budgeting, and maintaining strong internal controls. You'll work closely with both operational and leadership teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and finance functions while helping support the continued growth of Bandstra!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, intercompany balances, prepaids, and accruals, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reports
