Job Description

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company. They are urgently seeking an Accountant with a strong background of working with Dutch GAAP, Dutch VAT, and Dutch tax authorities to join their office in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carrying out monthly accounting and reporting of the financial results of the company

Carrying out the annual statutory accounting and audit

Conducting all aspects of the procure to pay function: including accounts payable, supplier master data, banks, etc.

Coordinating with external parties regarding compliance fulfilment such as lenders, partners, and tax compliance requirements

Conducting requests outside of the direct finance and accounting department, such as providing administrative support

Preparing and filing Dutch VAT returns and VAT reconciliation reports
