Job Description
We’ve got an exciting, brand new opportunity at Ackermans as Accountant: Reporting & Reconciliations. Part of the Retail Reporting team, this role will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial reporting across fixed assets and selected balance sheet accounts. The role focuses on strengthening balance sheet integrity, supporting management reporting (including Exco packs), and contributing to Capex and depreciation planning.
We’re a fully in‑office team. This role is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.
Key responsibilities: 1. Fixed Asset Management & Reporting Prepare and analyse monthly and YTD Capex and Depreciation reports Report on budget variances across Property, IT, DC and other Capex projects Identify discrepancies and variances and implement corrective action Prepare inputs for Exco packs and management reporting Support preparation of Annual Financial Statements and movement sche...Ready to Apply?
