Accountant

Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.


Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Perform bank and account reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Analyze financial data and investigate variances

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

+ Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity

+ Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

+ Participate in process improvement initiatives
