JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Accountant (Audit & Tax)

REPORTS TO: General Manager, Nigeria / Head of Finance

SUPERVISES: Accounts Assistant (if applicable)

MEMBER OF: Finance & Operations Team

JOB PURPOSE

The core responsibility of this role is to manage the Company's financial records, statutory compliance, tax filings, audit coordination, and financial reporting. The Accountant will ensure accurate bookkeeping, regulatory compliance (FIRS & LIRS), strong internal controls, and effective use of QuickBooks Accounting Software to support management decision-making in a fast-paced technology environment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks (advanced level).
• Prepare monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
