Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who is well-versed in import trade finance, and FBR compliance. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, handle trade-related documentation, ensure timely sales tax filings, and maintain accurate financial records in line with applicable laws and company policy.

Our operations involve international trade through Letters of Credit (LC), Documents against Payment (DP), Cash against Documents (CAD) mechanisms, and Local trade.

Job Specification

Core Accounting

Manage the General Ledger, journal entries, and month-end closing. Handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and payroll. Prepare Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet reports. Track all import-related costs (freight, insurance, duty, clearing). Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
