Accountant (Freight Forwarding)

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am pm
• Location: Promenade MRT (walking distance from MRT station)
• Full set accounts experience is a must
• Permanent role

Our client is a Japanese MNC freight forwarding company

Responsibilities:

• Maintain full sets of accounts including AP, AR and GL
• Record and reconcile vessels-related transaction in accordance with company accounting policies
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables from charterers
• Perform month-ed closing activities, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Prepare vessel specific Profit & Loss statement and supporting schedules
• Maintain vessel fixed assets register and calculation of depreciation
• Track vessel capital expenditure and dry-docking costs
• Work closely with internal departments such as Operations, Technical and Commercial teams for financial matters
