Accountant/ Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with Japanese accounting standards and internal policies.
• Account Reconciliation : Regularly reconcile exchange accounts, bank accounts, crypto wallets, and general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Crypto Transactions and Accounting : Manage the accounting and reporting of cryptocurrency transactions, including purchases, sales, trades, and wallets, ensuring proper treatment of crypto assets in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Internal Controls and Audit : Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Assist with internal and external audits.
• Financial Analysis : Provide analysis on financial performance and provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and revenue optimization for the exchange operations.
