Accountant

Description We are looking for an Accountant to join a team on a contract-to-permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for a driven accounting specialist who is comfortable managing core accounting activities while also supporting special projects that require strong analysis and organization. The role calls for sound knowledge of accrual-based accounting, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Record and post journal entries with a high degree of accuracy while following established accounting guidelines.
• Manage accrual activities during month-end and year-end close to help ensure financial records are complete and properly stated.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, research variances, and take corrective action to resolve outstanding issues.
