A market-leading engineering business with sites across Australia is looking to recruit a skilled Accountant permanently. Continued growth has led to the position being recruited. The main purpose of the accountant will be to oversee the Accounts Payable function and ensure the company is compliant with all accounting and statutory compliance.  This is a great opportunity to become part of a business that prides itself on developing & looking after its employees.

The Accountant’s key duties will include:

• Complete the month-end processes
• WIP analysis and reporting
• Undertake tax compliance (BAS, payroll tax, FBT)
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Involvement in automation project
• Identify opportunities to improve and document processes.
