Accountant

Description We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia in a Contract to Permanent role. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on payables, reconciliations, rebate calculations, and tax-related reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both financial tasks and general office support responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices accurately and record accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
• Calculate customer rebate amounts and maintain supporting documentation for review and payment.
• Perform bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Reconcile cash activity to bank records on a weekly basis and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Prepare and submit sales and use tax filings in compliance with applicable requirements.
