Accountant

Job Descriptions:

• Full spectrum of the Financial, Accounting and Consolidation functions
• Ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports
• Perform proper analysis of accounts to ensure that entries into the financial accounts are appropriate
• Preparation of costing report on ad-hoc basis
• Assist Finance Manager in preparation of budget or forecast
• Ensure that accounting transactions are only included in the financial reports if they had been properly documented and approved
• Oversee and provide leadership to accounting team on day to day accounting function
• Ensure that necessary statistical reports to the authorities are prepared and returned to the relevant authorities in a timely manner
• Proper reporting of GST and assist in answering taxation queries
• Provide support to the superior(s) in analysis and study of ad-hoc projects
