Account Officer - Origination (Investment Banking)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Originate, negotiate and structure, and close investment banking mandates from various clients for distribution through the various channels available to the company.
• Initiate and/or chair meetings composed of multi-disciplinary groups (legal counsel, certified public accountants, regulators, issuers, underwriters, etc.) in the course of completing a mandate.
• Conceptualize and implement various financial instruments/methods for introduction/distribution in the capital markets either through public offering or private placement.
• Represent the company in various fora.
• Conduct roadshow presentations either as team leader or participant.
• Source and/or refer other investment banking engagements/mandates for the company.
• Cultivate networks and maintain visibility as a senior officer in order to monitor and exploit opportunities arising from changes in market conditions.
