Academic Mentor

About the Role

An Academic Mentor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South East London. The role can be part or full time and is temporary in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover lessons and ensure set work is completed by pupils.
• Promote positive behaviour in students and adhere to the school's behaviour policy.
• Ensure classrooms are left tidy after periods and organise completed work by pupils.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Right to work in the UK.
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS.
• UK Bachelors Degree or an overseas equivalent.
• Experience of working with children/teenagers/young people or as an Academic Mentor in schools.
