A320 Captain – Position Requirements

• Valid ATPL with current A320 type rating (A318/A319/A320/A321)
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate with no operational limitations
• Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
• Minimum 1,500 hours as Commander (left seat only)
• Successfully completed a Command Course acceptable to the SCAA
• Flight time must be on aircraft ≥ 60 tons MTOW; Cruise Captain time not acceptable; PIC time as First Officer not acceptable
• Must have flown as Commander within the last 18 months, with at least 200 flight hours as a Commander
