Job Description

Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for a 7.5T delivery driver to work with our client in Reading. Our client is one the UK’s leading supplier to tool and plant hire sector.

The general duties of this role will involve driving a 7.5T vehicle to customer sites for the delivery or collection of tools or small plant equipment.


The pay rates on offer are as follows:

  • £15.00 per hour Basic rate.

  • £17.00 per hour Overtime rate.

    • These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.


    There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.


    Suitable candidates will have the following:

  • A full and valid UK driving licence, with CAT C1 entitlement.

  • No more than 6 points (minor offences only).

  • Current and valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards.

  • Previous commercial driving experience.

  • Attainable references in a driving capacity.
