4th Class Engineer

 The Opportunity:

As part of Maple Leaf Food’s manufacturing team, the 4th Class Engineer will be a contributor to the efficient operation of the Central Utilities Plant (CUP). The incumbent will operate the engineering systems in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with applicable Acts, Codes, Regulations and Standards; engineering systems includes water (potable, sanitary, storm, etc.), compressed air, and steam and ammonia (NH3) refrigeration, boilers, and compressors.



Hours of work: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedules may be varied to meet operational requirements and emergencies

Hourly Rate (Wage): $35.37 (4th Class starting rate), with progression in accordance with the Collective Agreement
