**Job Summary:**

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across buildings, equipment, and facility systems. This role requires basic practical skills and a working knowledge of multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The position supports higher-level trades personnel and ensures facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure
+ Replace and repair components such as light fixtures, switches, receptacles, belts, and small motors
+ Conduct minor patching and repair of walls and ceilings, including painting and surface touch-ups
+ Repair or replace plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, water coolers, and lavatory components (washers, seats, etc.)
