Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join an Internal & External Drainage Gang working on major groundwork and infrastructure projects in Hailsham . The role involves operating 14T+ tracked excavators on foul, storm, and surface water drainage installations while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and plant care.

Responsibilities

• Operating 14T+ 360 tracked excavators for internal and external drainage works
• Excavating trenches for foul water, storm water, attenuation, and service drainage installations
• Working closely with the Pipelayer and Topman to ensure safe and efficient pipe installation
• Trimming stone, backfilling, and maintaining correct trench levels and gradients to drawings and laser levels
• Installing and lifting drainage materials including pipes, manholes, chambers, trench boxes, and trench sheets
