**Job Description**

The 2nd Shift Utility Assembler plays a key role in a large industrial metal manufacturing facility by assembling materials for shipment, maintaining a safe and productive work area, and filling in for various production positions as qualified. This role supports best-in-class customer service by ensuring orders are assembled accurately, packaged to specification, and handled safely throughout the production process.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble material for shipment or components in accordance with specifications and instructions on work orders.
+ Select material from specific heats or based on physical condition as directed by work order requirements.
+ Count materials accurately and record heat or test numbers, symbols, random lengths, and other required information on orders.
