2nd Shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Summary: Receives and unpacks materials and supplies, loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipments including manufacturing wood skids and crates. Records applicable shipment data, assembles, and routes various types of printed material. Coordinates daily shipments with freight carriers and works with various departments to meet customer requirements by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet delivery trucks
• Inspect incoming material for damages and ensure material meets PO specification
• Unload delivery trucks and provide a signature
• Unpack ALL material to verify quantities, not just go by the quantity on the outside box.
• Account for all incoming material and equipment by verifying that the amounts delivered coincide with the receiving copy of the PO, packing s...
