Job Qualifications

Candidates for coaching positions must meet New York State requirements for interscholastic athletic coaching. Applicants are required to obtain fingerprint clearance through the New York State Education Department and be registered in the NYS TEACH system. Additionally, candidates must complete all mandated coaching workshops and certification requirements, including but not limited to First Aid/CPR/AED certification, Child Abuse Identification, School Violence Prevention (SAVE), DASA training, and the required coaching coursework for temporary/professional coaching licenses as outlined by NYSED.
