• School LPN Purpose of Position: To ensure the physical health and well-being of the school community Employment Status: Full-time Reporting Reports to: Principal  Location: Assigned campus Essential Functions: Deliver and coordinate health and wellness services for families Conduct and coordinate health screening programs at periodic intervals or on referral, as specified by local and state guidelines Provide basic First Aid to students   Refers identified health problems to the appropriate resource for correction and/or amelioration Send home DIET form to parents for pediatrician to fill out for food allergies Initiates follow-up of basic health problems as required Assesses and evaluates ill students during the school day and provides appropriate care and/or referrals as necessary Interprets health status and/or problems to the student, parents, and school personnel and makes recommendations when appropriate Plans, coordinates and impleme...
