Job Description
The School Psychologist impacts students’ lives by:
+ Coordinating and completing Bulletin 1508/IDEIA initial evaluations and reevaluations in a compliant and timely manner
+ Interacting with school-based and outside related service providers to obtain necessary evaluation components and make team-based eligibility determinations
+ Attending and participating in IEP meetings as the evaluation representative
+ Collaborating with the school-based Directors of Special Education to ensure that the school complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing students with disabilities or who are under the evaluation process
+ Consulting with school leaders and individual teachers regarding high priority students
+ Conducting social-emotional skills groups as needed
+ Taking on other tasks, as needed
