Position Overview

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board currently has a permanent Elementary teaching position available for the school year.

Eligibility

Application for this vacancy is available to individuals on the OECTA Occasional Teachers Roster who hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in Good Standing.

Recruitment Process

In accordance with OECTA Central Terms #17 Hiring Practices (see the Occasional Teacher Information Folder in the Google Drive), the Board shall interview the three applicants who hold the required qualifications as recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification.

As per 17.7.3 of the OECTA Central Terms #17 Hiring Practices, the school board may also interview a teacher employed as a permanent teacher elsewhere in the province who has applied for the posting.
