intermediate Teacher (Westcot Elementary School)

Full time (1.0 FTE), effective September 8th, 2026 until June 30th, 2027.

Salary range: $59,711 to $109,520, prorated based on FTE, dependent on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A clear understanding of the characteristics of intermediate students and the ability to develop a positive learning environment addressing the intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of intermediate students.
• Demonstrated ability and experience to teach, assess, and plan an intermediate program.
• A wide repertoire of strategies addressing assessment (formative, summative, peer and self).
• Proven ability to frame the curriculum and classroom management around equity, diversity, inclusivity, and reconciliation.
