1st Shift Welder And Fabricator

Job Description:

+ The Welder and Fabricator will be responsible for a variety of complex welding and fabrication projects in the Industrial Shop. They will interpret complex blueprints, layout, fabricate, and weld jobs of a wide variety, including structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals. Most of the welding is MIG and Flux Core.

Shift and Pay:

+ Monday - Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm
+ $28-32/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

+ Interpret and work from complex blueprints for various projects.
+ Layout, fabricate, and weld structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals.
+ Perform MIG and Flux Core welding.
+ Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.
+ Work independently at an assigned work station.
+ Support structural and miscellaneous departments.

Essential Skills:

+ 3+ years of experience in Structural Steel or Misc. Metals Layout, Fitting, and Welding.
