1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Grade 3). Salary £25,185-£25,989 pro rata (£ per hour). Temporary – required for 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2026. Part‑time (22 hours), 3 days a week, 08:15am‑4pm, term time only.

Linked to a named child – the post will cease if the child leaves our provision or funding is withdrawn.

Overview

Stanhope Barrington CofE Primary School is seeking a highly motivated, committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in individual support for an identified child. The successful individual will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of the assigned individual.

Qualifications

• Has experience in working with children with social and emotional difficulties.
• Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills.
• Is able to work as a part of a team, learning with and from other colleagues.
• Enjoys working independently and with initiative.
