1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a Child in Year 8

St Michael's term time plus INSET days (total 34 weeks per annum).

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who will assist and provide 1:1 support to one of our wonderful children with additional needs, who is moving into Year 8 in September.

The successful candidate will have experience and a natural affinity in working with children, especially those with SEND, preferably on a 1 to 1 basis, with a particular focus on social and emotional mental health, a commitment to helping provide an inclusive education and passionate about improving the outcomes for all students. Ideally, they will hold a an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

They will be kind, caring and confident with the ability to quickly assess the child’s needs, working closely with the Teachers and the Learning Development Team to ensure that the child’s needs are met at...
