Since 1 January 2008, the 8 municipalities of the Western Lausanne District, namely Bussigny, Chavannes-près-Renens, Crissier, Ecublens, Prilly, Renens, St-Sulpice and Villars-Ste-Croix, have been working together to provide community policing to citizens.
